Data deletion instructions

DanceCraft lets dance teachers optionally connect an Instagram Professional account to show recent posts on their public profile. This page explains how to remove that data from our systems.

In the DanceCraft app (recommended)

1. Open the DanceCraft app and sign in as the teacher.
2. Go to Profile → Instagram.
3. Tap the overflow menu (⋯) and choose Disconnect.

Disconnecting revokes our access with Meta, deletes stored OAuth tokens, and removes cached Instagram media from your profile immediately.

Through Instagram

You can also remove DanceCraft from Instagram: open Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → DanceCraft → Remove. This stops future access; we will clear cached profile data on our next sync cycle or when Meta notifies us via their data-deletion callback.

Email request

Email info@dancecraft.app with the subject line "Instagram data deletion request" and the email address linked to your DanceCraft teacher account. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Meta App Review callback

When users remove our app through Meta's flow, Meta sends a signed deletion request to our API. We process those requests automatically and return a confirmation code. If Meta provided you a confirmation code, you can reference it in email to info@dancecraft.app for status.
